Distant Nest

Cape Cod salt marshes in all seasons are always an inspiration to me. In this case, the summer greens have faded into fall yellows and browns. A tidal stream leads the eye out to the osprey nest, waiting for its residents to return after the coming winter. One of a group of new paintings for my solo show at Gallery Antonia in Chatham, MA.
