Just sitting on a sea wall enjoying life on the Fourth of July. I enjoyed painting this and I hope it makes you smile.
I finished this just in time to submit to "The National" 2023 edition at Cape Cod Art Center where it won both an Award of Merit and the People's Choice Award.
It was also chosen for Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts 113th Annual National Juried Exhibit.
In 2024 "Fourth of July" was chosen for the National Oil and Acrylic Painters "Best of America".
Just juried into the 104th Elected Artists Exhibition at Lyme Art Association, 2025, where it won Second Prize.
