Long shadows of late afternoon create magic on the snow and ice in the Oyster River, in Chatham on Cape Cod, a favorite place for inspiration at any season.

One of two paintings chosen for the 114th Annual Thumb Box Exhibit at the Salmagundi Club in New York.

It was among the pieces chosen for American Artists Professional League's "Realism on the Hudson' at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, NY.

It was also included in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Best of America - Small Works 2024, in Santa Fe, NM.

You will find it now at Lily Pad Gallery in Watch Hill, RI.
