Happy Hour

My favorite willets again, this this time much more actively feeding,  also this painting is more about the design of the ebb and flow of the waves and the colors of the sand and water. The birds are actually eating tiny clams that are found just as the waves start to retreat the perfect "Happy Hour" food.

"Happy Hour" was chosen by Artists for Conservation for the 2019 edition of "The Art of Conservation" which was published in September, and the 2019 virtual exhibition online.
