Winter Homestead

"Winter Homestead" is one of two paintings chosen for the All New England Open Juried Exhibit and Sale at Cape Cod Art Association in Barnstable. MA where it won a special award for Best New England Landscape.

The painting also received the C. Gordon Harris Award at the Providence Art Club in 2018.

It's subject is a farm just down the road from my home and studio in Mystic, CT. For many years I drove by and saw this classic farmhouse high on the hill, beautiful at any time of year but especially on a crisp, clear winter's day.
